How cloud medical imaging works

Connecting to the 3Dnet platform, a cloud medical imaging is extremely simple and does not have any affect on your current operations and workflow.

But, connecting to 3Dnet offers you the opportunity to try out a new way of moving and sharing data, and to re-engineer your workflows.

Step 1 – Create a virtual organisation

Sign up and create your virtual organisation. All you need is your name and a valid email address.

Step 2 – Upload data

Download the 3Dnet Gateway* and install it on a Windows machine that’s connected to your imaging network.

The 3Dnet Gateway includes a UI whereby you can drag and drop images, but for the full benefit, it’s recommended you configure it with your PACS (and RIS).

*The 3Dnet Gateway is a small node that can be configured as a target on PACS or imaging modalities, and with RIS systems. It intelligently manages data transactions between your network and virtual organisation.

  • Quick, easy, reliable image transfer
  • DICOM & HL7 compliant, comply with IHE standards
  • It takes 1 – 3 minutes to upload the average study

Step 3 – Streamline your workflow, share studies, collaborate with colleagues!

By default, we will cache as much data as your throw at us for up to 30 days at no cost. With 3Dnet, a cloud medical imaging, you can add as many users as you like and they can view and report up to 2 new cases per day, also at no cost.
